HOW IT WORKS:

Each employee works one-on-one with a career coach over Zoom, supported by structured assignments, templates, and video lessons. Together, we rebuild confidence, strengthen their resume and professional story, and develop a job search strategy that goes beyond online applications to tap into the hidden job market.

Coaching addresses both mindset and practical skills. A layoff can shake someone’s sense of identity and professional worth, so we begin by identifying their strengths, clarifying their goals, and exploring the roles that fit them best.

Whether they’re pursuing a similar position, making a career pivot, or using this moment to rethink their direction, participants leave with a compelling professional story and the tools to communicate their value.

Included in This Career Coaching Program:

WEEK 1: Resume Revamp:

Each participant receives a rewritten, reformatted resume and greater clarity about their next career move.

  • Explore target roles, identify transferable skills, and determine how to position their experience effectively.

  • Rebuild their resume to highlight relevant accomplishments, strengths, and qualifications for the positions they want.

WEEK 2: Job Search Strategy

Participants learn how to present themselves professionally, build visibility, and connect with the right opportunities.

  • A customizable cover letter template for targeted applications.

  • A LinkedIn checklist to refresh their profile and improve their visibility to recruiters.

  • Guidance on communicating effectively with recruiters and hiring managers.

  • A personalized job search strategy focused on networking and accessing the hidden job market, not just scrolling through job boards.

The goal isn’t simply to rely on the people they already know. It’s to learn how to build relationships with the people who can help them reach their next opportunity.

WEEK 3: Interviewing & Salary Negotiation

Participants practice telling their career story, communicating their value, and navigating interviews with confidence.

  • Strategies for answering common and open-ended interview questions, including “Tell me about yourself.”

  • An interview checklist to prepare for every conversation.

  • Salary negotiation techniques designed to help participants advocate for competitive compensation and maximize their earning potential.
