QUIZ RESULT: YOU’RE GETTING WARMER…
The Truth:
You're not in crisis, but you're not coasting either. You're warm. Things have been adding up, a few too many yeses, a boundary you let slide, a workload that's crept up without you really clocking it. You're managing, but managing isn't the same as thriving, and somewhere underneath the day-to-day, you're feeling the burnout creep in.
This is actually the best time to pay attention. Warm is easier to cool down than burnt. It means you still have room to adjust before things get harder to undo, a conversation you've been avoiding, a task you keep saying yes to out of habit, a boundary you can reset before it becomes a pattern. You don't need a dramatic overhaul. You need a few honest course corrections, made now, while they're still small.
What to do next:
The good news is that warm doesn't ask much of you yet. A few small corrections now will do more than a big overhaul later. Here's where to start: Pick one yes you've been giving out of habit, and let the next one be a "let me check and get back to you" instead.
Next, reach out and get some support. A career coach gives you an outside perspective and someone to think out loud with, so you can see which patterns are actually serving you and which ones are just keeping you busy. You get a plan that fits your real situation, and someone in your corner who can support you in getting unstuck.
